Swimming with Jordan

Jump on in, the water's fine!

Safety Procedures

DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED LESSON TIME.  This is to avoid distracting the group lesson before you.

I use a STOP and GO safety system for lesson transition.

When you see a RED STOP SIGN, there is a lesson in progress.

When you see a GREEN GO SIGN, then it is okay for your child to come to enter the pool fence and come sit at the edge of their pool to begin their lesson.

I will ensure that all children in one class have been released to their parents prior to allowing the next class to come inside the pool fence to begin their lesson.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this system, it works extremely well to ensure safety of all little ones!

PLEASE maintain physical contact with your child at all times until you release them to me to begin their lesson.  This includes siblings.  It is of the utmost of importance to keep your focus on your children at all times.  Little ones can escape their parents within seconds and make it to the water without being seen.  KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.  My priority is the safety of the children who are engaged in their lesson, so please help me by looking out for all others!  Thank you for your cooperation and attention to safety.

If your child is not potty trained, please have them wear a swim diaper, then a pair of swim pants that fit snugly over their diaper and around their legs.  Check regularly for accidents.  Snug swim pants are the best protector in containing any accidents, which will prevent the spread of any water born illnesses.

Our pool is a Salt Water pool, which means that it is a LOT less irritating on skin!  Yay!  There is still chlorine, but not such an extreme amount that would cause eye or skin irritation.  Your child will enjoy their smooth skin when they exit the water!  Chemicals are tested on a daily basis to ensure all levels foster a safe swimming environment.
